Research activities are oriented toward:

OFFICIAL NOTICE – NATIONAL CALL FOR INNOVATION
NSIRF – Defence & Strategic Technologies Grand Challenge 2025
The NeXorbi Scientific & Industrial Research Federation (NSIRF) issues a national call for innovation to support the development of indigenous capabilities across critical defence and strategic technology domains.
This initiative is intended to identify and engage with relevant technologies that contribute to long-term national preparedness and infrastructure resilience.
Priority Focus Areas
Proposals are invited in the following domains:
- Autonomous UAV Systems and Unmanned Platforms
- Counter-UAV and Airspace Security Technologies
- Artificial Intelligence for Intelligence and Decision Support Systems
- High-Temperature and Advanced Materials for Aerospace Applications
- Compact Propulsion Systems for Strategic Use Cases
- Directed Energy Concepts (subject to applicable regulations)
- Signature Reduction and Low-Observable Materials
These areas reflect evolving technological requirements within defence and strategic operational environments.
Eligibility
Applications are invited from:
- Indian Startups and MSMEs
- Research Laboratories
- Universities and Technical Institutions
- Individual Innovators and Deep-Tech Teams
Participation is limited to Indian-owned entities.
Evaluation & Recognition
Submissions will undergo a structured technical review process.
Selected participants may be:
- considered for further technical evaluation
- invited for interaction with domain experts
- recognized through NSIRF-issued participation or merit certificates
Recognition is based on evaluation outcomes and does not imply endorsement for deployment or procurement.
Engagement Scope
Based on relevance and evaluation, selected proposals may be considered for:
- technical guidance and domain-level interaction
- participation in structured research or programmatic initiatives
- exploratory collaboration pathways, where applicable
All engagement remains subject to institutional review, feasibility, and applicable regulations.
